Something about Sundays gets me feeling like cold water has been poured all over my head. No matter how 'up-in-my-game' I have been all week(and weekend), once it is Sunday, I automatically get super serious.
Maybe it has to do with Monday being the next day and the first day of work. Whatever it is, I always end up planning my entire week on Sundays. Unnecessary pressure some may say, but it is the one way I know to prepare myself for the week ahead.
It may not be the way to go for those who love to live in the moment(not that there's anything wrong with living in the moment), but for those who hate stress and complications, planning ahead is the way to go. It helps to keep you focused and prepared for the activities of the week in view.
But for you not to get swallowed up by the entire process, it is best to prioritise. Don't try to plan to get every important thing done before Tuesday. Take it one at a time, providing time for contingencies so that you still have time for yourself.
No matter how busy it gets, always remember to love yourself and be yourself. Be your own kind of beautiful, motivated, hardworking. Don't let the expectations of the world eclipse your expectations for yourself. Remember that you are the Sun. Shine your light all week long.
