That constant thing in life, that one thing that never changes is change itself. As long as there is life, there must be change. It is as inevitable as death. Change is that visitor that comes whether or not he is invited or expected. Things may be as they are and suddenly, change happens, and it all goes one way or another, for good or bad.
It is a possibility that lives with us daily, that is why we keep going back to that job hoping for a promotion. Or why we stay in that relationship hoping that you can we can change the other person. Or why we take up that insurance cover because of 'life's uncertainties'.
We grow daily and that alone is change. I had to face the reality of that change, growth, today. Someone I have known for practically all my life, my childhood friend, took on a new and beautiful life journey today. One that I'm very happy for but it is a change that everyone around her, even I, have to adjust to.
Change, being what it is, no matter how much you expect it or prepare for it, when it does come, it still hits you in a way you never expected. I welcome change completely, but it never fails to surprise me. At this point, I have learnt to just live my life, expect change, and make the best of whatever situation I'm faced with.
Bottom line is...live your life, change will happen anyway!
